This is the second time the Asia-Pacific Museum has opened its spaces for a format conceived by world-renowned calligrapher Brody Neuenschwander.

The calligraphy performance editions take place in public spaces around the world and bring together artists writing in different alphabetic systems. An important element of the event is the complete silence - both of the calligraphers and the audience walking among them. This allows one to experience the wide spectrum of the materiality of writing customarily dominated by the visual.

This year's calligraphic performance will take place on December 14 at 6:00 pm and is created in cooperation with the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology in Warsaw. The event is curated by our lecturer Monika Marek-Łucka.

Admission is free.
