We would like to invite you to the opening of the exhibition Unmoored, which will take place on January 31 at 6:00 p.m. in Warsaw, 33 Freta St. The exhibition shows works created by a student of the Faculty of New Media Art PJAIT, Alyona Khodakova.

About the exhibition

Unmoored is a journey into the depths of human relationships - connections, alienation and transformation. The exhibition invites visitors to navigate the delicate waters of human relationships: those we inherit, those we resist, and those we seek to rediscover.

At the center of the exhibition is the question: what happens when the anchors of the familiar world are lifted, leaving us adrift in unfamiliar spaces between self and other.

The work grows out of a deeply personal story - a daughter and father who were almost strangers to each other in the same family. But when political turmoil forced the author's father to leave home, their paths crossed in ways neither of them expected. They spent three months together on a sailboat, where the shared space became a challenge to overcome years of estrangement and silence. What began as an unfamiliar and uncomfortable closeness turned into an unexpected opportunity to confront the barriers that divided them, testing the limits of understanding and opening up the possibility of change.
