You certainly know very well the feeling of stress and confusion that accompanies doing something for the first time. At such moments, placed in a new situation, we don't always know how to behave. And what's more, when we enter a completely new stage of life, which is studies! How to address lecturers? What is an "s-"? How do you find your way on campus and get to the right lecture hall? To help all first-year students find answers to these and many other nagging questions, we have organized an Orientation Day at the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology!
The turnout was great, and the atmosphere was great! New students eagerly participated in introductory presentations, which introduced them to the rules of the university and introduced them to the wide range of initiatives they can get involved in - from study circles, to Student Council, to foreign exchanges. An important part of the program was a walking tour of the campus, during which the students had the opportunity to see lecture halls, laboratories and common work and relaxation areas, as well as meet staff and senior students who were eager to share their experiences. Orientation Day was also a great opportunity to make first student friends! Playing board games together, making water tattoos and munching onigiri certainly fostered integration.
An exciting year full of challenges and new opportunities lies ahead. And before our new students - the student adventure of a lifetime at PJAIT. Welcome aboard!
