15.03.2024 PJAIT will present the results of the international Interaction Design workshop for the second time on the stage of the Theater Institute.
The collaboration initiated a few years ago to integrate the theater, multimedia design and graphic design communities was interrupted by a pandemic. And yet, despite the isolation and restrictions, those studying at PJAIT and at the Theater Academy have established collaborations that have resulted in multimedia set design projects for several graduation plays. We trust that this year's post-workshop shows will contribute to the formation of more creative groups.
This year's interaction design workshop focuses primarily on exploring the possible scope of using AI in creating and processing multimedia activities. Lecturers from Warsaw's PJAIT and UW, Antwerp's Sint Lucas College, Helsinki's Aalto and Berlin's UdK are working with the students. The mentoring group consists of people from the fields of art, science and engineering. Activities include processing of image, sound and web data in interaction with the actor.
Based on mentoring expertise, the creative generation just entering the performance industries will unleash their imagination and together with AI show us how we can design the scene of tomorrow. Expect a number of surprising and inspiring projects - it hasn't happened before!
