We cordially invite students and academics to participate in the Cyberiad!

The Cyberiad is a Computer Game Design Championship. It is attended by male and female students, as well as those working and teaching in higher education.

Participants will work on their own games in teams for several months under the guidance of specialists and with the help of an e-learning platform. Each team will be assigned to its base, which will be located in one of the cities, which for this edition are Lublin, Bialystok, Bydgoszcz, Krakow and Wroclaw.

The main goal of the project is to activate the academic community for the development of computer game design by providing methodological and substantive support.

Why "Cyberiad?"

The name of the championship draws inspiration from a series of short stories by Stanislaw Lem, whose protagonists are two robotic constructors. They can create anything - including entire worlds - and use their skills to solve various problems. This is a reference to the role of game developers as creators of new worlds and their mechanics. In 2025 it will be 60 years since the first edition of "Cyberiad."

Who is organizing the Championship in Computer Game Design?

The project is organized by the Teatrikon Foundation.

The Foundation for Youth Creativity, Education and Animation has been implementing projects aimed at young people since 2010. Its activities are focused in three departments: creativity, education and animation. Since its inception, it has been helping young people discover and develop their potential, and creating space to realize their goals and dreams. Since 2016, it has been running various activities related to the game dev industry, including the first edition of the Cyberiad in 2021-2022.
