of Computer Technology to grant doctoral degrees
In 2009, the Central Commission for Academic Degrees and Titles granted the Faculty of Computer Science the right to confer the degree of Doctor of Technical Sciences in the discipline computer science (as the only non-public university
in Poland).
PJAIT Has the authority to confer doctoral degrees in the disciplines of: computer science, mechanics, and in the field of fine arts and art conservation.
In 2000, the University received the authority to confer the degree of Doctor of Technical Sciences in the discipline computer science.
In 2014, the university was authorized to grant doctoral degrees in the scientific discipline of mechanics.
In 2017 Faculty of New Media Art PJAIT was authorized to confer doctoral degrees in the field of fine arts and art conservation.
