On April 17, the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology hosted the consortium leader, the Science4People organization, along with representatives of partner universities: Veliko Tarnovo University from Bulgaria, the Open University of Cyprus and Tampere University of Applied Sciences from Finland.

The Infotester4Education project aims to address the growing problem of disinformation in the digital age, with a particular focus on its impact on democratic values and academia.

The meeting began with a get-to-know-you game that got everyone warmed up for action. Then the goals and vision for this project were discussed, as well as the various work packages with timelines and milestones.

On the second day, members of the Infotester4Education team agreed on the methodology of the activity, as well as key details of the project. The list of topics selected to be analyzed for disinformation was presented and then discussed.

The inauguration of the project turned out to be a productive meeting that yielded a lot of thoughts on how to implement the initiative. The next step will be a training course in Tampere, Finland on how to detect and combat disinformation.

The project is financed by the European Union on terms of the ERASMUS+ programme Action 2 Cooperation Partnerships
