WP Programming Academy Project

Project initiation

March 6 and 7, 2023, was quite an event at our University! On those days, our students began classes with the WP Programming Academy.

The result of the course was the collaborative creation of a client-server application (in GO), which enabled interaction among all course participants. Each participant received a course completion certificate at the end of the semester, and the final grade for passing GOLANG will be visible on the PJAIT diploma supplement.

Participation in the WP Programming Academy was an opportunity to start a professional career in a very good Polish technology company.

Awarding of WP Programming Academy x PJAIT certificates 

On June 20, a ceremonial presentation of the WP Programming Academy course completion certificates took place. The course was created specifically for our female and male students and conducted by a professional IT team from WP – a flagship partner of PJAIT. 

As part of the WP Programming Academy, course participants learned #GO programming, as well as project management and team communication, among other skills in high demand in the modern job market. 

We would like to thank the WP employees who were conceptually and organizationally responsible for creating the course: Radosław Dzierzędzki, HR BP, Pawełe Milewski, VP Poczta and 1Login by WP, Paweł Karaszewski, VP IT, Aleksandra Rabenda, IT Project Management Director, Andrzej Butkiewicz, IT Manager, Aleksandra Radziewska-Wyłudek, Recruitment and EB Team Leader, Iwona Stutzka, Senior Recruitment Specialist.

We also extend our enormous gratitude to Ms. Marta Godzisz and Ms. Marta Zofia Myszewska from PJAIT for their cooperation with WP.

During the event concluding the course, its progress was outlined, and the participants' work product – a Battleship game – was presented. It was a real live esports match, complete with an enthusiastically cheering audience and WP sports commentator Marcin Musiał.

The event was graced by the presence of PJAIT Rector dr hab. Jerzy Paweł Nowacki, PJAIT Chancellor mgr Maciej Rembarz, WP board members, lecturers, course participants, and invited guests.

The course turned out to be a great success, and we are already inviting you to its next edition. We are delighted that PJAIT and WP can create exceptional opportunities for students to develop under the supervision of specialists and give them the chance to start a professional career in a very good Polish technology company.
