Study description

The UX Design postgraduate program is designed to provide knowledge of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) and practical skills including planning and conducting UX studies, as well as modeling, complex user interface (UI) prototyping and evaluation of digital products and services. Through classes and workshops based on real projects, students can focus on executing their UX portfolio under the guidance of mentors and passionate experts with years of experience. They will also gain competencies related to implementing UX strategies with an awareness of how the business ecosystem works. Prerequisites for participation include at least a degree from Bachelor's degree and basic work experience.

Why choose our studies?

Meritory

Students of the UX Design postgraduate program gain the key competencies necessary to do Human-Centered Design and ensure a high level of UX of the interactive solutions created. They are also aware of different design methodologies and the role of research in UX design. Business case analyses presented during the class prepare students to build an optimized user experience strategy that integrates business strategy with UX design. In addition, the knowledge gained and its practical application allow graduates to quickly understand their role in the team and take a mature, partner position in the dialogue during the design process.

Knowledge and Practice

The students are able to properly develop a research plan and conduct user needs research tailored to the characteristics of the project and audience. They have practical skills in modeling and creating information architecture for extensive digital service projects, including websites, mobile applications, etc. They apply guidelines and design principles for ergonomic user interfaces in line with contemporary design trends and technical aspects. Know the basic issues related to the role and meaning and means of formal expression in popularly used media. Awareness of the fundamentals of design not only gives graduates a competitive advantage in the job market, but most importantly enables them to serve as valuable and equal partners to the creative, strategy, IT and marketing teams with whom they will work, among others.

Specific skills

Graduates are able to work effectively with applications and services to prototype user interfaces using principles of intuitive navigation, interaction and user dialogue methods. They know the basics of graphic design and applications to design both user interface and presentation materials related to the project and building their own UX/UI portfolio. They are prepared to independently plan and conduct various types of usability tests and audits to evaluate the created interactive solutions. They are able to expand their knowledge and develop their skills with the indicated tools, received aids and teaching materials.

Networking

The UX industry is changing rapidly and it is essential to stay abreast of design trends and technologies used in today's projects. Students will have the opportunity to stay in touch with all alumni and lecturers, and will get access to updated sources and materials in the field of UX, so they will be able to develop their competencies and skills even after graduation. In addition, they will receive a prestigious diploma from the University, which has been valued both in the IT market and by the creative industry for many years, confirming high qualifications in UX design.
