A team of four PJAIT’s students and graduates had 24 hours to devise a tool, which allows to create a regular recurring order. The team has won a hackathon BrainCode „From offline to online” by the Allegro company.
The hackathon’s participants have been working on solutions, which would allow to overcome barriers between online and offline shopping. The team consisted of students and graduates of the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology - Michał Lewandowski, Maciej Lipiński, Patryk Oshibuchi and Jakub K. They came up with an idea called „Allegro subscriptions”.
Its goal is to give the users of a shopping platform Allegro a possibility to hit the „subscribe” button, in addition to the usual „buy now”. Thanks to that they could make a recurring order of products. This tool would save the user’s time by automatically choosing the ticked products in the lowest prices. The buyers would determine the price range themselves.
The hackathon took place on April 12-13. The members of awarded teams received statuettes and gift cards to use on allegro.pl.
