Our recruitment process is based on a presentation and the qualifying interview.

Step 1 - Presentation

The enrolment process is based on the presentation (e.g. PowerPoint, max 5-10 minutes).
The presentation must include a portfolio.

The main purpose of the presentation is an introduction to the topic of your future Diploma Project. The presentation must be prepared in Polish or English depending on the language of the chosen course.

The presentation should include:

a. Previous experiences (artistic studies, other studies, etc.);
b. Portfolio presenting the design and artistic skills of the student. The portfolio may consist of the final Bachelor Diploma Project, selected paintings, drawings, photography or design works.

2- Your path choice

From practice to theory
This path is based on the assumption that an artistic project, related to the artistic practice of the candidate, is
the subject of research conducted from the point of view of a reflective practitioner (artist examining his own
creative process). An artistic project leads to theoretical research.

Step 2 - Interview

The interview is based on the content of the presentation and portfolio, provided before.

During the interview, the foreign language proficiency, as well as technical competencies, is additionally verified. The candidate selects the specialization and diploma subjects.

The PJAIT Graduates:

The graduates of the New Media Arts faculty who received 4 or 5 points for the Bachelor Diploma Projects should prepare the presentation where they add some visual materials (artworks, drafts, sketches, collages, etc.) matched to the proposed project.

The rest of the requirements for the presentation are the same as for graduates from other schools (Step I points 2 and 3).

During the interview, the PJAIT graduates provide their presentation, talk about the future Diploma Project, choose the language and specialization of the course.
