The course aims to prepare students for their plunge into the world of studying Computer Science or Information Management at the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology. It constitutes a basic introduction to information technology, student life and university culture in the context of Poland and the European Union.

The classes are conducted in English, and allow students not only to polish their IT skills, but also to expand their knowledge of the English language. The course starts in the second half of September 2022 and finishes in June 2023.

Classes are held on weekdays (Monday - Friday).

Please note: We would like to inform you that enrollment is on a first come, first served basis and it is followed by an admission interview.

In the event of a change in legislation regarding full-time classes, classes will be conducted online. The fee for the Foundation Year will remain the same regardless of the mode in which classes are held (full-time, hybrid or online).

In the event that the Foundation Year programme is cancelled due to national legislation or force majeure, participants will not be entitled to compensation for the cancellation. In this case, the fee for the Foundation Year will be refunded in proportion to the number of classes conducted.
