Since 2013 together with Prof. Anja Stoeffler and Prof. Ralf Dringenberg we work on the Motion Typography Festival – biennial. Two first were in Warsaw (Muzeum Narodowe w Warszawie, thanks to Piotr Rypson and Kino Muranów), next was in Mainz (Gutenberg-Museum Mainz). Later on in collaboration with Professor Hilary Kenna in Dublin (dlr LexIcon Venue) and next together with Professor Brian Lucid in Wellington. The last one has been the most challenging because of COVID lockdowns and isolation periods.

However, all of the leaders made it possible, especially Dr. Jan Piechota working on online workshops with Prof. Brian Lucid put a lot of effort into the organization of open classes for students around the globe. Finally, we come to the series of parallel exhibitions of Motyf 2021/2022 and symposium online. Students' works will be shown in Mainz, Wellington, and Warsaw in real spaces. Lectures take place online at the streaming channels opened by Prof. Brian Lucid's team of Massey University, Wellington.

The exhibition in Warsaw has been prepared by Piotr Sieciński and Piotr Nowiński – curators of the PJATK gallery. They took care of the presentation of international students' works, including PJATK on motion, generated and interactive screen typography. All interested in the topic can read more in the book "Transformation in typography, through the medium of the screen" edited by the team of FutureText project and published by PJATK in 2021. Free issues are available at the library of PJATK.

The events will start blended, on 25th March 2022.
